Talk on the Goals of Agenda 2030 at the Geosphere in Piazza Castello

Turin, January 19, 2025 – As part of the FISU 2025 event, an important talk on the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) of Agenda 2030 took place at the Geosphere in Piazza Castello. These goals are of fundamental importance for addressing contemporary global challenges. The prestigious presence of Piera Levi Montalcini, President of the Levi Montalcini Foundation, added significant value to the debate by introducing the fundamental principles of Agenda 2030. Claudia Levi Montalcini, the event's patroness, concluded the session by presenting a commemorative coin in honor of her aunt, the scientist Rita Levi Montalcini. Among the prominent speakers was Luca Paiardi, a wheelchair tennis athlete and CPD ambassador, who embodied the values of accessible and inclusive sports by sharing his personal experience. Experts committed to promoting ethical and sustainable practices within businesses explored the sustainable development goals in depth. The topic of sustainable and inclusive fashion was introduced by the founder of Anjoy, a new brand rooted in inclusivity, sustainability, and equality, aligning with Goal 5 of Agenda 2030 (Gender Equality). The meeting highlighted the importance of addressing these issues not only from an economic and corporate perspective but also as a social responsibility to improve living conditions and preserve the environment.
